I cooked two big boston butts for easter and we had alot of leftovers so tonight is our first attempt at tamales. Amber started the tamale sauces last night by usin a mixture of Guajillo peppers,cumin,chili powder,garlic onions,beef and chicken broth,tomatillo and a pre-made mole. The house was smelling so good last night I almost couldn't wait. Well she found out how labor intensive making tamales is but I am sure it will be worth the time. We are at the time I writing this about 10min from them coming out of the steamer so I will quit writing now and continue when done with the review.
